The process: I joined the Toben team as they were rebranding the QT Hotel Rooftop Bars in Melbourne, Perth and Auckland. They had created a fantastic modular logo system, and were beginning to roll out the rest of the brand. Our aim was to create intriguing, abstract imagery that matched the unique, eclectic aesthetic of each hotel, and reflected the cultural nuances each location. The images were then treated with a lenticular effect for further abstraction. These are then framed and balanced with a sleek black and white colour palette. 

Results: Toben was awarded Gold at the International Graphis Design Annual Competition for this project in 2022. It was a finalist at the Designers Institute of NZ, Best Design Awards, and was featured on The Brand Identity.
