
ABC Classic Kids

My role: Designer, Illustrator
The Challenge: Struggling to sell tickets with its previous creative; we were asked to develop a new visual identity for an up-and-coming classical music series aimed at children aged 2 – 7. A collaboration between the Sydney Opera House and the ABC, the show was to act as a friendly introduction into the world of classical music.
The Solution: For this I created and illustrated a cast of memorable musical characters, which turned loud and sometimes daunting instruments into playful, recognisable friends. These were used in print and animation.
Results: The show went on to sell successfully, returning for a second season, and later developed into an ongoing podcast.
