Hotwire x USYD

Outputs: Digital report, marketing assets, report presentation.
My role: Lead Designer, Illustrator

The Challenge: In 2021, The University of Sydney partnered with Hotwire to do a study on the semiotics of tech branding. The creative challenge was to visualise the data and insights in a way suitable for a credible academic report; that appealed to creatives, marketers, and tech C-Suiters alike; and still captivating and curious enough to be used as a marketing asset.
The Solution: Working within the Hotwire brand, we brought the facts and figures to life by mixing vibrant geometric shapes and textbook inspired illustrations, with each of the four key chapters given their own hero asset. This approach was then applied to infographics. The report garnered attention, and was picked up as a panel talk for Mumbrella 360; Australia's biggest marketing conference.
